2015 Road Trip

Two years of planning, eight days, three states, 1,246 road miles, one mechanical rooster, one zipline, and 129,432 footsteps later, B and I completed our epic southwest road trip.

Stop #1: Las Vegas, NV
Stop #2: Sedona, AZ
Stop #3: Grand Canyon National Park
Stop #4: Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon
Stop #4: Zion National Park
Stop #5: Bryce Canyon National Park
Stop #5: Salt Lake City, UT

Favorite picture of the trip

Horseshoe Bend: probably my best picture of trip
Most disgusting moment captured.
The texture of the 'sand' and the smell is indescribable.

Vegas:
Poolside at the Flamingo
Pre-zipline at the Rio
Round 1: Aria buffet

Panorama from the High Roller
Grand Canyon:

Grand Canyon!
Sedona:

Sedona
Sedona Hike.  Airport trail?

Ssssedona.

Lake Powell:

Some perspective on the size of Antelope Canyon

Antelope Canyon paddling.
Something like 12 miles of pain.

Sand in Antelope Canyon
Fish jerky: free lunch.   Why do I look
like a member of the lollipop guild?

Zion:

Barely levitating at Zion: Watchman's trail loop variation

Zion switchbacks
 Bryce:

Bryce Canyon Tree of Inspiration

Sir, can you take our picture?  Sure!

Bryce.  Different photographer.

 Salt Lake City:
Look Ma, no feet!

Flooded salt flats look just like the Caribbean.
Who would have thought?

Queen of the stink!  Who knew the Lake stinks?

Tin can @ Bonneville.  Oh, the irony.
